The new HRT METEO application offers a comprehensive approach to weather forecasting, emphasizing a personalized understanding of atmospheric conditions. It continues to provide access to measurements and observations from official meteorological stations in accordance with World Meteorological Organization standards, along with radar imagery of precipitation, subjective forecasts, and meteorologist alerts.

Enhancements include advanced computational capabilities for hourly predictions, such as wind direction and speed assessments, wave height calculations, and measurements of pollen allergen concentrations, air quality indices, and soil temperatures at various depths. These features facilitate a more detailed and tailored weather experience.

The application offers a distinctive type of forecast—an expert subjective assessment by DHMZ specialists—which historically was accessible only through regional broadcasts on Croatian Radio and regular meteorological segments on Croatian Television. This "forecast with a soul" aims to provide users with a more nuanced understanding of upcoming weather conditions, setting it apart from other available services.
